November 1 - ALL SAINTS [Solemnity] 1st reading Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14; Psalm 24:1-6; 2nd reading 1 John 3:1-3 ; Gospel  Matthew 5:1-12;  We shall be blessed if we accept Jesus teaching [Mt 5:1-12], we will become God’s children [1 Jn 3:1] ascend to His mountain and receive His blessing [Ps 24:3-6] and be brought to His glory [Rev 7:9-14]  For more see November Saints

November 2 - Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed [All Souls Day] .            1st reading Wisdom 4:7-14; Psalm 23:1-6; 2nd reading Romans 6:3-9 ; Gospel  John 6:37-40We belong to Jesus [Jn 37], He is our shepherd [Ps23:1], We have died with him in Baptism [Rom 6:3-9] and shall be taken up by Him at our death [Wis 4:10] For more see November Saints

 November 3 - 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time. 1st reading Wisdom 11:22 - 12:2; Psalm 145:1-2, 8-11, 13-14; 2nd reading 2 Thessalonians 1:11 - 2:2; Gospel Luke 19:1-10;  The Lord has come to seek the lost [Lk 19:10] He has mercy on all [Wis 11:23] as He is faithful [Ps 145:13] so must we persevere [2 Thess 1:11-12] 

November 10 - 32nd  Sunday in Ordinary Time. 1st reading 2 Maccabees 7:1-2, 9-14; Psalm 17:1, 5-6, 8, 15; 2nd reading 2 Thessalonians 2:16-3:5; Gospel Luke 20:27-38  Jesus reaffirms the promise of our resurrection [Lk  20:34-38]  the hope of God’s protection [Ps 17:8] which sustained the seven brothers [2 Mac 7:14] and their mother is ours if we remain steadfast [2 Thess 3:3] as they did. 
November 17 - 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.  1st reading Malachi 3:19-20; Psalm 98:5-9; 2nd reading 2 Thessalonians 3:7-12; Gospel Luke 21:5-19  The Lord foretells abuse and persecution for His followers [Lk 21:12-19] as they strive toward the great Day of His Return [Mal 3:20] For He comes surely [Ps 98:9] so let us all be prepared [2 Thess 3:7-9] 

November 24 - OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THE KING. [Solemnity]  Formerly the Last Sunday in October as a counter to Reformation Day/Sunday celebrated in Protestant Churches on 31 October or nearest Sunday; Now the Last Sunday of  Liturgical Year - Always displaces 34th Sunday in Ordinary time  1st reading 2 Samuel 5:1-3; Psalm 122:1-5 2nd reading Colossians 1:12-20; Gospel Luke 23:35-43   As the sign on the Cross proclaimed [Lk 23:38], Jesus is King of the Jews, and of all.  Son of David the King [2 Sam 5:3], Judge of all [Ps 122:5] He leads us from dark into everlasting light of His Kingdom [Col 1:13-14]
