November 2 - Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed [All Souls Day] .            1st reading Wisdom 3:1-9; Psalm 23:1-6; 2nd reading Romans 5:5-11 ; Gospel  John 11:17-27;  Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life [John Jn 11:25] He is our Shepherd [Ps 23:1] Who dies for us [Rom 5:6] and Who will keep our souls in His Hands [Wis 3:1]  For more see November Saints
 November 8 - 32nd  Sunday in Ordinary Time  1st reading 1 Kings 17:10-16; Psalm 146:8-10; 2nd reading  Hebrews 9:24-28; Gospel  Mark 12:38-44;  Jesus asks that  we, like the widow, give the little we have [Mk 12:43-44] that He may multiply it as of old [1 Kngs 17:10-16] to care for the needy [Ps 146:7-10] and bring salvation to all [Heb 9:28]
November 9 - The Dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome [Feast] 1st reading Ezekiel 47:1-2, 8-9, 12; Psalm 46:2-3, 5-6, 8-9; 2nd reading  1 Corinthians 3:9-11, 16-17; Gospel  John 2:13-22;   Jesus is the true temple [Jn 2:21] from which flows the living waters [Ps 46:5] to nourish fruit [Ez 47:12] in us, His earthly temple [1 Cor 3:16]  For more see November Saints
November 15 - 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time  1st reading Daniel 12:1-3; Psalm 16:5, 8-11; 2nd reading  Hebrews 10:11-14, 18; Gospel  Mark 13:24-32;  Christ will come again [Mk 13:26] to complete His conquest [Heb10:13] and judge all [Dan 12:2-3] and the elect shall rejoice [Ps 16:11]   

November 22 - OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THE KING [Solemnity]  Formerly the Last Sunday in October as a counter to Reformation Day/Sunday celebrated in Protestant Churches on 31 October or nearest Sunday; Now the Last Sunday of  Liturgical Year - Always displaces 34th Sunday in Ordinary time  1st reading Daniel 7:13-14; Psalm 93:1-2, 5; 2nd reading  Revelation 1:5-8; Gospel  John 18:33-37;   Jesus returns [Rev 1:7] with a great kingdom, much beyond those of this world [Jn18:36] An eternal [Dan 7:14] unchanging kingdom [Ps 93:5]  

ADVENT

November 29 - 1st Sunday of Advent. Today begins the Liturgical Year, cycle C. 1st reading - Jeremiah 33:14-16; Psalm 25:4-5, 8-9, 10, 14; 2nd reading -1 Thessalonians 3:12 - 4:2; Gospel Luke 21:25-28, 34-36; We walk in the way of the Lord [Ps 25:4] obeying His Commandment of Love [1 Thess 3:12] in watchful [Lk 21:34-36] for the day of His return to establish His visible Kingdom [Jer 33:14-16]
