November 1 - ALL SAINTS [Solemnity] 1st reading Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14; Psalm 24:1-6; 2nd reading 1 John 3:1-3 ; Gospel  Matthew 5:1-12;  We shall be blessed if we accept Jesus teaching [Mt 5:1-12], we will become God’s children [1 Jn 3:1] ascend to His mountain and receive His blessing [Ps 24:3-6] and be brought to His glory [Rev 7:9-14]    For more see November Saints   

November 2 - Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed [All Souls Day] 1st reading Isaiah 25:6-9; Psalm 23:1-6; 2nd reading Romans 6:3-9 ; Gospel  John 6:37-40;  We belong to Jesus [Jn 37], He is our shepherd [Ps23:1], We have died with him in Baptism [Rom 6:3-9] and He shall destroy death [IS 25:8]

November 9 - The Dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome [Feast] 1st reading Ezekiel 47:1-2, 8-9, 12; Psalm 46:2-3, 5-6, 8-9; 2nd reading  1 Corinthians 3:9-11, 16-17; Gospel  John 2:13-22;   Jesus is the true temple [Jn 2:21] from which flows the living waters [Ps 46:5] to nourish fruit [Ez 47:12] in us, His earthly temple [1 Cor 3:16]  For more see November Saints

November 16 33rd  Sunday in Ordinary Time.  1st reading -Proverbs 31:10-13, 19-20, 30-31; Psalm - 128:1-5; 2nd reading - 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6; Gospel - Matthew 25:14-30  We use our talents [Mt 25:14-30] in anticipation of the Lord‘s return [1Thess 5:1-6] and expectation of His Judgment [Ps 128:1-2] especially in service to the poor and needy [Pr 31:20]

November 23 - OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THE KING. [Solemnity]  Formerly the Last Sunday in October as a counter to Reformation Day/Sunday celebrated in Protestant Churches on 31 October or nearest Sunday; Now the Last Sunday of  Liturgical Year - Always displaces 34th Sunday in Ordinary time  1st reading -Ezekiel 34:11-12, 15-17; Psalm - 23:1-3, 5-6; 2nd reading - 1 Corinthians  15:20-26, 28; Gospel - Matthew 25:31-46  The Lord is our shepherd [Ps 23:1-3, 5-6] Who cares for us [Ez 34:11-12, 15] but will Judge us [Ez 34:16; ] at the Resurrection [1 Cor 15:20-26, 28] when He separates the sheep from the goats [Mt 25:31-46]

November 30 - 1st Sunday of Advent.  Today begins the Liturgical Year, cycle B. 1st reading - Isaiah 63:16-17, 19, 64:2-7; Psalm 80:2-3, 15-16, 18-19: 2nd reading  - 1 Corinthians 1:3-9;  Gospel Mark 13:33-37.  We await Your coming Lord [Mk 13:36]. Lord Come to us [Is 64:2]; renew us [Ps 80:18] and keep us steady and without blame [1 Cor 1:8.]
