The above is the title of a book published by Planned Parenthood, who
argues that kids as young as 10 years old need to know abortion
"facts" so that they
consider an abortion a "perfectly normal" option in certain
cases like the
following (taken from page 73 of the book). Our comments are in parentheses. The parents do not have enough money or time to take good care of a baby or they already have children and cannot afford another child (Again, why not consider adoption?) The parents feel they are too young to take care of a baby in a responsible manner (Then they are too young to have sex as well!) The female was forced to have sexual intercourse against her will and became pregnant as a result (But the baby is the totally innocent victim in this crime; why does it have to die as punishment?) The female is single and feels she is not able to raise a child on her own (How many times need we repeat the word "adoption"?) The female did not intend or want to become pregnant (then why not try abstinence, especially for 10 year olds?) Given these "facts" Planned Parenthood apparently has a 4 step goal for these youngsters. Step 1 -- Give kids as young as 10 years old explicit sex-ed material Step 2 -- Lure the kids into being sexually active as early as possible Step 3 -- Tell them that abortion is perfectly normal Step 4 -- Cash in when girls want to abort their babies (This article excerpted from the ALL newsletter dated 1/31/06) |
